Cape Cod is where I spent my teenage years growing up. The winters are great with ponds to skate on and fires in the old stone fireplace. Falmouth is a sleepy town in the wintertime. It's the best place in the world to wind down and relax. Summers are bustling with tourists and the weather is always perfect for a bike ride. I could get everywhere on my bicycle since the best shops and restaurants are all located on Main Street and the beach is just a 15 minute ride from town. The Cape has a myriad of lovely B&B's to accomodate even the most discriminating travelers. Check out the Inn On The Sound located right on the beach. For fun, I love going over to Woods Hole to stroll through the little museums and gaze at the lighthouse. Being in the heart of New England there is so much rich history to see and learn about. I always love going to the Plimouth Plantation where actors bring history to life. In the summertime you can enjoy a ferry ride to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard. The sea breeze is always cool and sunny days are always so enjoyable you can spend the entire day outside. I LOVE CAPE COD!
